Caregiver Support, End of Life Care / Palliative Care, Home Health Care, and Mental Health - Adult

- Grief Support: Volunteers are available to support individuals who are grieving, with one-to-one support for a short period of time or through the ‘Living With Loss’ support group.
- Palliative Care Support: Volunteers provide support through visitation and companionship for individuals and families who are facing a terminal illness. Volunteers visit in the home, hospital or care facility, offering companionship, respite, and practical assistance. The focus is on making the last stages of life comfortable for both the client and their loved ones.
- Library: Merritt Hospice has an extensive library of books, pamphlets and DVDs on palliative care, grief support and related topics.
- Advance Care Planning: Provides planning ahead for future health and personal care.
