Indigenous Mental Health and Wellness Services

Provided by St’at’imc Outreach Health Services (SOHS)

Provides mental health services to individuals of all ages who belong to the St’at’imc community.
The following services are offered to children, youth, and adults:
  • Treatment of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, psychosis, attention deficit disorder (ADD), substance abuse issues, bipolar or post-traumatic stress disorder
  • Psychosocial and other types of assessments
  • Psychiatric consultation
  • Support and counselling groups
  • Individual and family counselling
  • Traditional ceremonies
  • Holistic care plans
  • Addictions
  • Art therapy
  • Anger management
  • Coping skills

All services are rooted in Aboriginal culture and values.
