Low-Cost Emergency Dental

Provided by Henning Emergency Clinic of Kindness

The clinic provides emergency dental care to marginalized individuals, low-income families, fixed-income seniors, those on Ministry Assistance, including the homeless and working poor who reside within the South Okanagan.
Clients using the Henning Emergency Clinic of Kindness must meet three criteria:
  • they cannot already have a dentist
  • they must be in pain or have an infection
  • they must show evidence of being on a low or fixed income (A copy of Tax Assessment and BC Care Card will be required when filling out forms.)

To book an appointment, individuals can fill out the contact us form, call the clinic, or visit in person.

The clinic provides pro-rated, affordable dental care to individuals experiencing dental pain and/or infection to those who cannot afford treatment in a private clinic. Those covered by Ministry Dental Insurance will not be expected to pay more than their insurance will cover, except in cases where dentures are received.

Requirements:
  • A minimum $20 user fee (to cover basic costs of materials used). Donations are appreciated and gladly accepted.
  • A copy of tax assessment
  • A list of medications you are taking
  • BC Care Card
  • Participants are expected to respect the alcohol- and drug-free environment.

At this time, prevention services cannot be provided, such as teeth cleaning.
