Never Alone With Addictions - Harm Reduction

Various efforts including peer navigators, resource tool kits and support for individuals who use substances in Merritt.
The program aims to reduce the harms associated with substance use including overdose by social stabilization, cultural safety and humility, and improving harm reduction awareness by creating stigma reducing dialogue within the community.

This will be achieved by:
  • Establishing a multi-stakeholder network
  • Hiring Peer Navigators
  • Offering wrap-around support
  • Developing resource took kits
  • Encouraging community dialogue
