Adult Addiction Day Treatment Program and Supportive Housing (AASH/DARP)

Provided by ASK Wellness Society

A 6 beds/units for adult men and women who seek a combination of safe/supportive housing and recovery support.
AASH/DARP runs in partnership with Interior Health, a six-month-long outreach abstinence-based treatment program. It has six-beds which offer 24-hour/7-day per week supports, housing, wellness planning, life skill development, and recovery focused group meetings. Programming occurs six days per week. Participants in this program address their substance-use challenges and are supported in their recovery and transition to healthy living. Progression to independent living is supported with the exploration of educational and employment opportunities.

It is a ‘low barrier’ program as they only require 5 days of abstinence from substances and work with participants as they navigate involvement with justice system, PO, MCFD/delegated agencies etc.

The program fee is $475.00 and includes both a day treatment program (DARP) and supportive housing in an independent apartment in the community (AASH). AASH housing units come fully furnished and with all of the basic necessities. Utilities and basic telephone landline are included in the program fee.
