Addictions / Substance Use and Mental Health - Adult

Provided by Interior Health

Provides primary health care to residents of Penticton with mental health and/or addiction issues.
Services include:
  • complex care management
  • mental health and substance use health care
  • opioid agonist treatment (OAT)
  • harm reduction supplies and patient education
  • safer sex supplies
  • referrals to health services, addictions services, and other social supports
  • needle exchange including the distribution of clean needles, sterile water, and alcohol wipes; disposal of used needles, and health information to encourage safer injection practices
  • Take Home Naloxone Kits (Narcan)

Please note that some referrals to the Martin Street Outreach Centre (MSOC) may not be accepted. For patients who do become connected to MSOC, the primary care service is intended to be short term.

Once patients are stabilized they will be supported towards reintegrating back into a typical family practice setting in the community.

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM (closed for lunch from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM).

Wheelchair accessible.
