Infant Psychiatry Clinic

Provides assessment, consultation and treatment of child and youth disorders.
The following clinics are offered out of the Shirley Dean Pavilion at Surrey Memorial Hospital:
  • Infant Psychiatry Clinic: Provide assessments, consultations and short-term treatment to support the developmental, social and emotional needs of infants and young children, from birth to five years of age.
  • General Teaching Clinic: The General Teaching Clinic Team, which consist of psychiatrists, a clinical social worker and psychiatric residents, provides mental health assessments for children and youth with a broad range of mental health concerns which may include depression, anxiety and behaviour challenges. Provides for children and youth 6 to 18 years of age.

    The above clinics services all of the Fraser Health region.
