Urban Aboriginal Health Centre

Provides primary care to indigenous and marginalized populations with a focus on mental health and substance use support.
The Urban Aboriginal Health Centre is not a walk-in clinic but is a family practice medical clinic whose goal is to care for Aboriginal people and people who are marginalized and without a family doctor on the North Shore of Kamloops. There is a doctor and a family nurse practitioner available for all health needs, from forms, lab work, and x-rays, to women’s health and men’s health.

There is emphasis placed on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), FASD, and Traumatic Brain Injury within Mental Health and Addictions.
