Tailored for more stable clients who have a safe, supportive living environment. The program provides medically monitored withdrawal services, assessment, individual and group counselling, psychoeducational groups, acupuncture, and other alternative therapies, as well as medical management for clients on supervised prescription withdrawal protocols.
Vancouver detox offers adult withdrawal management services, also known as detox. Provides safe and supporting bed-based program for people who require medical withdrawal and/or initiation and titration of opioid agonist treatments (OAT).
Also makes referrals to local community health centres for addiction counselling and methadone services. Staff are culturally diverse and sensitive to LGBT issues. Open seven days a week with some extended hours.
