Hillside Centre is an acute Tertiary Mental Health facility located in Kamloops that provides care for persons aged 19 years and older. They have a total of 47 beds and are a regional tertiary centre catering for patients referred from all over the Interior Health region and Northern Health. They also support the provincial UBC Neuropsychiatry program.
Their goal is to provide a thorough assessment of patients, help stabilize their symptoms and return them to their home communities. An experienced team of physicians, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers, recreational therapists and support workers treat patients through a trauma- informed lens to provide the best possible outcome for them.
Admission is by physician referral only.
