Extended Outpatient Aphasia Clinic - Prince George

Provides services to help patients with communication impairment due to stroke or brain injury that impacts identity and relationships because of difficulties speaking, understanding words, reading, and writing
Services:
  • Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) students will run aphasia therapy groups
  • Open to any adult with aphasia who lives in the Prince George area
  • Runs Tuesday and Thursdays (in either a morning or afternoon group) at UHNBC
  • Information night available for families to learn communication strategies
